In conjunction with our printer

we are able to offer the highest

quality, of paper packaging standard, printing on tinplate.

Your imagination is virtually the only limitation, for what may be printed.

Usually the artwork is printed on

top of a white varnish, but it is also
possible to print directly on the

blank surface of the metal.

By printing directly on blank

metal you can add a metallic effect

to parts of the artwork or you can

give all the artwork a metallic finish. Depending of the type of ink and

the dot grain value, the metallic

effect will differ. However, the

finish will be very different from

printing metallic ink on a white
varnish. Another option is to use

a top varnish containing tiny

metal flakes

The varnish applied in the end

of printing, enhances the colours

of the print and gives the print

deeper and bolder colours.

Usually this varnish is glossy,

but it is possible to apply a varnish,

that gives the cans exactly
the finish that you want; from

high gloss to matt - or maybe a
combination. This will take more
than one print run. A matt

varnish can make a wooden

design look real.
